My name is Cheikh CASSET, I’m 34. I’ve been playing soccer since childhood in the streets of Bambey city in Senegal. I joined a football center at a young age and played for the U15 team as a midfielder. I played this position for most of my career. Then, I joined the League Team of the City for over seven years. I also played at the university in our department and on the university regional team throughout my college career.
During my University years, I began to fall in love with coaching. I started to coach at a private school while completing my marketing and communication studies as a student for three years. In 2019 as head coach, I won the national championship of Senegal for University private schools of Dakar.
I like the coaching as it allows me to see young players improve their soccer ability and life skills.
